Sealing Ends Before washing?

I have been reading so much about sealing ends, but what about on natural hair? After I wash my hair, it is so curled up, it would be impossible to get to the ends. Is it ok to seal ends before washing? Any suggestions????

I was just thinking the same thing this morning....hopefully someone will respond. I think it might be best to do a comb out and then seal the ends, on dry hair before washing? I don't know though
