Scalp Treatments?

Ok so my friend told me she went to the salon and paid twenty dollars for a scalp treatment. She had microbraids and it left her bald in some places. I asked her what was a scalp treatment and she said a deep conitioner. Anybody ever had a scalp treatment done at a salon?

I thought a scalp conditioner was a little more than a deep conditioner?

I have , I believe the mizani system, it is very nice, it has a few steps, if I can remember, their is a solution applied through the scalp by parting sections, very stimulating, then a massage of the scalp, a few mins with heat, and then a shampoo and additional contitioner, hopefully I did not leave any thing out, I found it very relaxing, stimulating, and I believe the cost was $20.00 or $35.00 not sure, it has been over a year since I had it done, hth

I've done this before..but it was with Nioxin, very stimulating, left my scalp feeling lovely
