Does anyone know of any good scalp soothers? My scalp in the back tends to become dry and scaly. It is practically "murder" when I get my touchups.

T-gel or any coal tar shampoo is my best friend. I apply it directly to the scalp, massage in and let it sit for atleast 5 minutes.

Perhaps Neutrogena Triple Moisture Dry Scalp Soothing Shampoo? (Read its details.) I love the mint on my scalp and it does leave my head feeling oh so clean.

How about trying shikakai powder?

I'd say an equal mix of jojoba, evoo, vitamin e oils and a dab of tea tree oil. Mix well and apply lightly to problem area as needed. It works on dry and flaky facial skin as well.
