Calling all SoCal ladies!!

Hey ladies! I need your help please. Hubby and I recently made the move from Alabama to SoCal for school. Within days of getting here, my scalp started rebelling against this dry heat! (I used to have dry scalp issued but cowashing practically eliminated the problem.)

I've oiled my scalp--I even spray my scalp with water at least once a day! lol Has anyone had this problem in this dry heat? Any suggestions? (Now, my hair IS is kinky twists, so the parts expose more of my scalp. Gotta keep them in for another month since I won't have time to otherwise.)
