Hi Ladies,

I've been having this issue for years now and could never figure out how to resolve it.
The thing is, when I wrap my hair at nights, in the morning when its time to comb it out, it HURTS SO BAD!:ohwell:
Last night I tried wrapping it in the other direction thinking it may ease some of the pain, well, with no surprise, it made the pain a lot worse!
The pain was so bad, that I had to take an advil. That really didn't help either..

If any of you ladies have had this experience when wrapping and combing out your hair, can you please share your solution with me? I'm wearing a loose ponytail right now, but my scalp is still in pain. It almost feels as if I'm having a headache at the same time!:perplexed:ohwell:

BTW, I am currently not taking any vitamins or supplements! :ohwell: (I know I should:wallbash:, but not sure if this would have anything to do with it!)

TIA..:yep:

do you apply anything to your scalp? Maybe try some putting some JBCO or sulphur 8 on your scalp at night before wrapping. HTH

I use to apply Mizani H20 to my scalp at night, but it weighed my hair down and made it more greasy than it needed to be.

Now a days, I'm so out if it by the time I'm ready to go to bed, that I just wrap it and call it a day!

Mayb be I should try that..:ohwell:

Thanks.

This pain actually comes from "going against the grain". your hair grows in a pattern, like a fingerprint.

I get this too, especially around my front edges.

Try the wrapping in the other direction once the soreness goes away. See if that helps. But if its that bad, use 4 flexirods and call it a night.
