Hello ladies,
Right now I am in some serious pain and tears. I had just got through making my own deep conditioner, which is coconut milk, mixed with pure honey. After I boil it and let it sit for a while and put it on my hair. Well, today, I when I thought that it was warm enough to apply on my hair I started pouring and BURNED is what I got.
My scalp now is burning and in much pain from the scorching water. Have anyone experience scorching water on their scalp? If so, how did it affect the hair? I am hoping my hair doesn’t fall out or not grow because of this. Advice needed?

Once again, I'm sorry that this happened to you. I hope everything is okay and your hair and scalp will suffer no long term damages.
I can't tell you how many times I burnt my scalp with hot oil treatments, home made concoctions...flat irons, curling irons and so on. Next time don't boil the mixture. If you have to, just warm the milk up first, then add the honey. Let it sit for a few minutes and test a small amount on your inner wrist. That's the most sensitive part on you arm. If it burns, it's too hot for your scalp. Get you a Gold N Hot conditioning cap. That way you can slap all that conditioner in your hair and just put the cap on and let it marinate. After burning my scalp with my hoil oil treatment, it was a wrap for me. Be careful girl. Hope you are feeling better soon.
