Scalp Moisture

After reading this question elsewhere, I thought I'd ask the professionals of this board! :D My scalp needs moisture & the book Curly Girl says that we should moisturize the scalp daily (like your face.) I'm scurrrred to oil my scalp (does anyone still do that? good results?) But I'd like to find a way to get my scalp some moisture?

I've heard about misting the scalp as well as soaking the scalp (which seem okay, but i'm looking for other ideas.), Are there any ideas that I could incorporate daily (or every other day?) instead of just when hair is wet?

Hot6 comes in two types of bottles, one that you pour and one that you spray. When I had scalp moisture issues, I was using Hot6 on my scalp, and it worked wonders on my new growth. You'd think the spray bottle would get clogged b/c it's oil, but it never did. I really liked being able to spray it wherever I needed to...

HTH...

i do oil my scalp at nite and my ends. I mist my hair with my glycerin/water/eo mix daily- no problems thus far- just increased thickness and growth.
