wearing my hair down, I cant live my life in a bun no way no how

PLEASE SAY IT LOUDER.....bunning is good for a while, but not all the time.....I learned from my nape being broken off, I got the lazy bug and bunned 24/7 and because of that I have breakage from my nape......:nono:

Ya'll can call me what u want, nasty ,dirty ,I dont care but I refuse to wash my braid extensions. I tried it the LHCF way and washed my braids all willy nilly the last time I had them and they were a frizzy mess in less than 2 weeks. Water is not going to touch the next set I get. I'll continue to clean my scalp with sea Breeze just as ive always done.

shampoo, trimming, heat, combs, brushes....I break a lot of rules around here and my hair is still progressing well

__________________________________________________________

My former beautician use to mix dax Kocath ( something like that) and sufur 8. It grew my mom's hair down her back.

My mom avidly used these products on my hair when I was natural and I used Sulfer 8 up until joining LHCF.....I wonder if I should revive it?? lol

My mom's BFF has ALWAYS used these two mixed together and her hair has been BSL for as long as my mom can remember.

Any product I use with mineral oil or petroleum in it. :nono: If the product is giving me results...why stop using it? :perplexed

Yes!! I use hair and face products with mineral oil. Ironically, Pond's face cream has MO and it is the only moisturizer that doesn't break me out; whereas "natural" face products always do.

I still don't understand petroleum's bad reputation. It's a skin protectant, so I don't get how it can't protect hair as well....

blowdrying my hair after washing
using heat
using grease

Heat - I neeeeed my Sedu and blow dryer
Shampoo
Combing - I hate tangles
No leave ins

I'm practically a LHCF delinquent.:spinning:

What will I never give up?
Two words: LYE. RELAXER.

As for the SLS debate, I don't use much shampoo, don't really like it, so I'm indifferent.
I do find mineral oil unpleasant on my hair, but hey that's just me. Then again, I hate castor oil just as much...

my flat iron ... on HIGH HEAT i don't care what yall say! i dont straighten often but when i do that hot ol 400 degrees gets it good each time.

(why is one of the tags coochie? lolololol)

I will NEVER give up my curly perm a.k.a. jheri curl a.k.a. curly kit. This is the most convenient hairstyle I've ever had in my life. I can be totally hair lazy w/o detriment to my hair & I love it!!!!

CONES, NAPPY HAIR and my 4ever changing WIGETRY colors, styles!:hippie4:

What are you NEVA EVA giving up despite what your fellow sisters might say behind your back?:lachen::lachen::lachen:

I am never giving up my Fantasia Sparkelite gel-it does my edges right. It hasn't failed me yet.

I love cones and as a result of that I need an SLS shampoo- and My favorite is ORS Olive OIl(which I will never give up)

What say you?
ITA! My staple moisturizer with mineral oil and sls containing shampoos!

cones- silicone mix is the ****
mineral oil- i love ic fantasia pm night oil

No Trimming... I am not gonna be trimming my hair every 2-mths and lose my progress, twice a year is the best I can do, if that :)

I feel you on that... I need to join a no trimming challenge LOL.

ETA: That's right I'm never giving up direct heat lol.

I see we have some very naughty girls round these parts:sekret:

I love it!

I cant and I will not give up my brush:wallbash:

I know its bad, and I know it helps with my hair to make it dry, but shampoo! at least once a week :X My hair just feels gross after a while! I just bought a non-SLS shampoo today to help with dryness...

I'm glad you're the only one laughing. Not that I have to defend my hair decisions b/c indeed it is MY hair, I would like to say that IMO you shouldn't be on here clowning anyone's hair decisions. There are other ladies on here that wear curly perms & they feel they have to remain silent b/c of insensitive comments like this.

my boar's bristle paddle brush.
I love a bun but those edges must behave! I've been wearing a bun all my life, and I always use a brush. :drunk:

My brush and combs
My infrequent trims
Stretching relaxers
Cones
My SLS poo, some of the sulphate free poos made my hair very dry, so whats the big difference?

My comb, my brush and wrapping my hair every nite. I do cross wrap though!

Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship. I went to a natural hair salon and when the stylist started bad mouthing HE, talking about you shouldn't use their products, they put alcohol in it, I was looking at her like . She's lucky I didn't cut her for talking that mess.

My regular wrapping...every time i stop, my hair starts breaking...not gonna stop

Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner (unless she puts in an ingredient that I don't want in my hair or that doesn't agree w/ my hair)

Washing my hair every two weeks

doing my own hair
wearing my lacefront (well at least not until my hair is as long as the lacefront)
