Hey ladies I know this sounds like a simple minded question, but where did you get a satin scarf from and how do you tie it so is doesn't create stress points on you hair. Thank you :)

I ordered my from www.simplyscarves.com. Made from polyester fabric with chiffon or satin finish -- excellent bargains from $2 to $8. I use the 20 x 20 size squares and make triangle to tie hair at night. I've tried the "real silk" ones made of 100% silk fabric with satin or chiffon finish -- check out www.tenderheaded.com for the best deals on the real silk scarves -- those suckers don't stay on MY head at night because too "slippery"-- but the polyester ones are a bit more "bulky" and the fabric is just as smooth and seamless as the silk ones. I really can't tell the difference in touch and feel between the poly and the silk, only difference is what I spent on them . . .

Oh a BIG plus with the poly is that they are hand and/or machine washable . . .

I have a satin scarf but it never stays on my head so I use silk scarves and I like them the best.

I found this to be the case as well but I take one of those headbands that looks like it's knitted but it's very loose, looks like this: Scunci except it's about 4-5 inches wide and put that on over the scarf to keep it in place. I try to use one that matches the scarf I wearing so I don't look too crazy walking around the house or outside. It's not come off one time in two weeks.
