Where is the best place to get Satin bedding? I heard satin sheets can be expensive so I am just shopping around.

Check out Bed, Bath, and Beyond, um, sometimes stores like Marshall's, TJMaxx have nice bedding on clearance. Overstock.com is another..

I think Tenderheaded.com is selling a full set now?

sppeaking from experience, don't waste your money. i splurged and bought 3pr of satin sheets at macy's and everytime i use them it's sheer torture. my main peeve is that your continually rying to make the flat sheet stay on the bed; and no matter how careful you are about washing them, unless you dryclean them they develope loose threads and fuzz overtime.

i just bought some 300thread count sheets and they feel just as good as the satin, but they get better with age. and if 300 is too pricey even the 250 feel as good as a lovers arms lol

and one more thing... if you're looking for inexpensive satin pillow cases for your hairs' protection, the dollar stores sell these satin pillow protectors. they work like a charm and are cheap as dirt to boot.

has anyone ever bought any satin fabric from the fabric store and sewed one? It seems as thought it would be pretty easy to make. and cheap??

That sounds like a good idea.

it's easy --- just use one of your old pillow cases for the pattern ... add a little more for the seam allowance. Even better ... add an extra pocket on the inside and slip a little bit of lavender leaves in for aromatherapy.

Ballet Bun ...
