Sally's sent me a duplicate.......

order of the one UPS destroyed....go figure. I didn't know what the UPS guy could be bringing me from Sally's since I hadn't ordered anything. I opened it and it was the order they had already sent me. So now I have 2 of everything that UPS damaged. I've been trying to call and let them know, but I guess with it being Monday, they are really busy, so I'll try again tomorrow :ohwell:.
 
You already knew you were gonna keep them. You just wanted us to say so to make yourself feel better and less guilty. Letting the phone ring for 1 second doesn't count as calling.

Actually I'm not going to keep them. I can afford to purchase whatever I want, so I don't need to keep something that I can easily purchase and as a matter of fact, I've already purchased. It's not worth the guilt I would have, and I do believe in what goes around comes around :lol:.

well i dont think sallys is expecting you to send it back! hell as big as that company is. if they didnt tell you to send it back dont worry ;)
 
I wouldnt return it.

I'd sit and think about all the times I experienced bad customer service, overpriced items, cashier forgetting to put something in the bag, etc.

That's what was owed to me.
 
Same thing happened to my cousin this week with a Karen's body beautiful shipment....she returned it....do what u feel is right.!....I'm just wondering wth is goin on with these companies?
 
I finally heard back from Sally's today. This is the email I received:

Hello ,
Thank you for letting us know about the duplicate order. We have set up a call tag with UPS. UPS will make three attempts to pick up the package. Thank you for your honesty. Please let us know if you need any more assistance.

It's obvious that Sallys has already taken the L on this one. They charge a 300% markup, so technically you've already paid for the extra products & then some. You deserve those products for your pain and suffering!

...however, you really don't need all that so I am more than willing to take the extra products off of your hands :lol: :lol:

im surprised ive had small companies just let me keep the damaged stuff!!

stop playing im quick to scrape stuff into other jars and containers hehe.

This wasn't damaged stuff; it was all new. They sent me 2 replacement orders of the one UPS had damaged.

These things typically come back and bite you in the you know what. You made the right choice. The last thing you need is to have them calling 3 weeks from now to charge your card or collect. Not worth it.
 
Hey that happened to me around Christmas time. It took me calling Sally's three days before someone finally answered their phone.

After placing me on hold the lady came back on the phone and thanked me for being honest and said Merry Christmas.

I still haven't used all my SE megasilk. I ended up with 6 jars (3 was free).
