i was just thinking about going back to my trusty organixx conditioner--this is perfect timing. thank you so much!!!

:badidea: This PJ just sniffed out a sale!

I AM SUCH A thirsty PJ :lick:

I had no intention of even trying anything new, well I am going to buy Motions DC that has rave reviews on SallyB cause I need a great protein conditioner, but now I want to try Coconut Instant Repair Treatment by Organix too !

Thank you for the post and bringing my inner :sekret: PJ back to the surface :waytogo:

Why would you post this Shadiyah??? Why?!! I'm trying to not spend unnecessarily this summer! And I can find a way to justify $7 anytime.

Not the ones from the Tresseme 'Naturals' line (around here in Maryland, Virginia and DC).

I've never been able to find the Tresemme Naturals stocked here (I'm in an all-white town). I'm curious to know how much it costs. How much is the Tresemme Naturals where you stay?

If you check Walgreen.com, they can tell you which Walgreen in your area carries the Tresemme Natural. However, I think the Tresemme at Walgreen is the old formula with the Isopropyl Alcohol.

I was able to find the new formula at Target and at my local Kroger. I don't think they had it at my Walmart. And they didn't have it at CVS. It was $3.99 at both Target and Kroger.

But make sure you read the ingredients because some places are mixing both bottles on the shelf.

OMG! I am SO glad you posted this....i was just about to go to Walmart and get some more Tresemme....is it all tresemme tho?

SmilingElephant yes it is all tresemme I brought 4 natural conditioner and I had just came from kmart and I brought 1 at regular price just in case I couldn't find a sale but the icing was finding out that organix was on sale again.

I just looked at the one I got from kmart and it said new on it and it had the isopropyl alcohol like the last ingredients and I have been able to tell the difference from the first ones they were runny and now it is thick and creamy now.

In another thread and on yt, they were saying that the latest formula does not have isopropyl alcohol. I have one of each. I have 1 bottle with isopropyl and 1 bottle without. From what I understand the one without isopropyl is the latest formula.

Here is just 1 of the threads http://www.kinksofnature.com/2012/05/whats-in-it-tresemme-naturals.html

But searching for Tresemme and Isopropyl brings up others.

I have not been able to find shea moisture on sale yet because I want to try it but I will not buy it at full price because it seems to me that shea moisture has a lot of protein in their products.

It was on sale at the beginning of the month at Walgreen. They actually had 2 sales in the past 45 to 60 days.

I will try to remember to let you know the next time it goes on sale.

I just looked at all of them I have and I have 5 with and 2 with out and I think that the ones I have without I got from rite aid when they had their sale. I am so glad you told me that and that is why the clerk at walgreens said she has to get rid of all of them.

I'm going to find the new formula and buy a new bottle and then return this other bottle.

You may be fine with the old formula. My hair is already on the dry side. Even though the alcohol is near the bottom, others have said it can feel sort of drying. So the new formula seems to be better.

They don't carry it at all Walgreen's. You have to check online to see which Walgreen carries it.

I have 3 Walgreen stores near me. It's only carried at 1.

Y'all don't get scared about the formula change! I've been going through one-two bottles weekly of Tresemme Naturals for the past year and I didn't even notice the change.

and I was having a fit when there were only 2 left but the girl was like did you look over here I have a lot of them. they were like at the front of the store at another display. but rite aid for me for now on. I need to check and see if they are having the same sale because normally they do at the same time as walgreens or just behind them so maybe this week coming.

@ellebelle88

They can be found in white towns and black towns. When they say 'Naturals', they don't mean as in ethnic natural hair. They're referring to the natural oils added like avocado, coconut, jojoba, etc (different ones have different oils). Check out the link here.

I've seen it for $4.79 in Target.

Funny, I ended up being lazy and opening mine and using it to cowash today. I used unpetroleum jelly in my hair and needed to get it out. And I didn't want to waste the good stuff. I figured I was going to DC afterwards so it would counter the impact of the isopropyl alcohol. I will use the new formula most weeks and use the old formula in special situations.

But its not expensive so, buying a new bottle is no issue.
