Salerm Vital?

Has anyone tried this? This is one of the great Dominican products I picked up while in NY. I have yet to try it, but according to the ingredients, it is just silicone.

Give me your review if you've tried it out. Thanks

I've used Salerm vials before, but I don't know if I used this particular one...I think I used the placenta. Anyway, what does Vital do?

It says that it puts a reparative film on your hair that lasts for several shampoos.

SG - I have this in my arsenal right now...

I take it to the salon when I get my wash and sets and apply right before the rollers go on - after my leave in.

It can be used on dry hair, but I prefer it on wet....

I really do like it. GREAT shine and gives a nice feel to the hair.

- wanna hear a funny "secret" (actually it's not REALLY a secret - it's just a funny result of any slight language barrier)? Dominican women call anything in a vial that is a leave in of any kind "placenta"... It's like another way to say leave in treatment in Spanish parlance....

Thanks Tracy. I didn't know that.

The treatment the hairdresser used on my hair a few weeks ago was either the Vegetable Placenta or the Regenorator. She said to use the product once a week and it would make it "hard" aka "strong". Do you know which product she was talking about?

I got my hair done while in Brooklyn and my hairdresser where I live STILL doesn't have Salerm. The woman down in Brooklyn tried to charge me $7/vial..I said no thanks b/c I knew I could get them on metrobeauty.com

Supergirl - pls post your results. I have the 21 and mask but that's all I've tried in the Salerm line. Subject change - I was wondering about the Salerm Brushing Plis Tecnico. Is this a product used during blowdrying?
