Hello

I bought the keratin system (salerm) yesterday. When i read the lable i see the following ingredients on the straigtening cream:

water, acetyl tributyl citrate, cetearyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, hydrolyzed keratin, glycerin, dimethiconol, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, parfum, cetrimonium chloride, sodium laurylsulfate, behentriomonium chloride, citric acid, citral, limonene, linalool

So i was looking for information about the second ingredient. I looked at several reports and studies don,t tell any harm. But the point is that i have to iron it on 450. So the stuff changes into gas. Does anyone know here if its carcogenic? Even its harmfull for 1 procent i will throw it away. As far i can see thats the only ingredient in the list that can do the job.
I emailed salerm but i havent received a answer yet...still waiting.

On youtube they have the next information;

YouTube - Salerm Cosmetics - Keratin Shot products

Hope you can help me...

I looked up acetyl tributyl citrate and got this:

Plasticizer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some type of plasticizer used for wall board and concrete production..... thats all I could find. Per wiki it is a safer plasticizer which is biodegradable. it su sed in food packets, and cosmetics........ Thats all I could find *shrug*
