What does this do for the hair? I know it is included in some of my shampoos and conditioners, but really what affects does the concentrated stuff have on hair? Where is sista slick when ya need her?

I use it in my DCs to strengthen and soften my hair. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft!

it acts as a humectant - it draws moisture into the hair..its really great! I add it to my leave-in's and my MT mix!

SAA = Silk Amino Acids. It is basically Silk Protein. It helps strengthen and soften hair.

My hair does not like Animal Proteins but loves Silk Proteins. So SAA is my protein of choice. And I've never noticed it over strengthening or making my hair hard the way aPhogee or Eggs do.

I add SAA it to my Conditioners and when I use to pre-poo, I would mix a little in my pre-poo treatments Silk Amino Acid and a little drop of Honeyquat which is also a really Good Humectant.:yep:

During the Self-Relaxing process, I applied SAA to the Ends of my already relaxed hair for protection of the previously relaxed hair and extra added strength !:woot:
