I seriously want to grow my eye lashes out and I hear that adding SAA to my mascara really helps. If there are any other methods that you use to grow your lashes, It would really help me out.
If you have any before and after photos of your lashes, please please please don't hesitate to post them and inspire me:grin:.

Thanks ladies.

I've been putting SAA on my lashes for about 2 weeks. I naturally have short lashes.

I do see improvement :yep: They are definitely longer!

However, they still aren't the type of lashes that make you say wow!

Maybe they will be one day...

I didn't take pics though..

There's a thread on this board that says castor oil at night and SAA in the morning will give you better and faster results. I cannot wait to see my results... I haven't ordered the SAA nor the Castor oil yet but I have some ayurvedic oils left and I'm kinda experimenting... Till I get the right stuff. I'm mucho excited!

I've been using SAA for a while - and my eyelashes have definitely gotten longer. I took starting pics, but I never bothered to take current pics - I might do that this weekend.

I don't have any pix ( lazy), but this really works!

I added SAA to my regular mascara (Maybelline XXL) and it has really made a difference!

Won't ever be w/o it again!

I use castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes at night. I have notice growth to my eyebrows, still waiting for the eyelashes to catch up.

what is SAA? i need long thick lashes too. Help a sista out. My lashes curl somewhat i sometimes like them that way but i know if they were longer it would enhance my full eyes more.

I added SAA to my mascara and have been using it for maybe 3 weeks now. I see a difference- my lashes def look longer to me, but I didn't take any starting pics.

SAA - Silk Amino Acid

I use this and IT WORKS! Castor Oil works too but I learned that by mistake. My eyebrows kept growing in and I would have to wax a little more often. But I was so glad they FINALLY filled in.

Add some SAA (3 drops) to your mascara and massage some castor oil on your face at night. The oil would be good for your complexion as well.:yep:

HTH

Another option is to use the thickest Vitamin E oil you can find. My eyelashes are long and thick enough but when I was younger I did this and they were much thicker and longer. Every once I awhile I still do it for my entire eye area. The focus is different once you're over 35. :)

Here are my lashes without mascara:

I don't do mascara often but if I curled my lashes I think I could go without.

Very beautiful!!! So do you just rub the castor oil on your eyelashes?? kinda confused about night time application...

I live in the caribbean i wanna know where can i purchase SAA? I i cant get a hold of SAA then i would just have to settle for the vitamin E oil and believe that it will work for me. I visit the states 2-3 times per year also would anyone be able to tell me where in ATL, FL OR NY can i get SAA.

I want to thank all of you ladies for helping me with this thread. I'm anticipating great results with this. I've already got 3 of my personal non-LHCF members on this bandwagon.

I use castor oil on my lashes... I ave definately seen improvement... especially on my bottom lashes, I never used to have any :lachen:... the lashes on top have definately gotten thicker and a little longer.. if I don't see any length in the next couple of months I might get me some SAA.. good thred!

I really need to start using the castor oil - I've been using the SAA for a while, but I never bothered to add in the CO....... I haven't figured out a way to apply it that I'm comfy with.

I don't know if this will help, but I use a Q-tip. I just put a drop in my hand or on my counter, put the Q-tip on that drop and apply. At first I tried to dip it in the bottle, but WAY too much oil soaked into the tip.
