I've been watching the posts and I see alot of you getting S-curls. What is that and what affect does it have on your hair? Would you choose it over a relaxer? How safe is it for your hair as far as damage is concerned? Just wondering.

The ladies aren't actually getting a "curl" or using texturizer chemicals, but they are using S-curl activator as a moisturizing product.

Hi Mamamia
S-Curl moisturizer is just that... "a moisturizer". On occasion, I'll use it all over, however, most often, I use it on my "new growth" which helps to keep it soft & moisturized, thus manageable. Every few days I use it (along w/oil) on my "ends" to keep them moisturized as well.

God Bless,

This stuff is great I use it for my braids. Helps keep my hair moist and I think that it gives it a shine too.

This stuff really keeps the hair soft and moisturized. I also used it when I had braids, concentrating the spray on the shaft of the hair itself as opposed to the roots.
