Roux Porosity Control

I used Roux PC yesterday for the first time, as ACV was getting a little bit too smelly for me.
I shampooed, the used some conditioner ( i didn't have enough time to DC) and then lathered on the Roux PC and washed out.

I've read that it provides slip and makes it easier to detangle etcetc.
but i must've done something wrong, as my hair was knotty and my hair broke a lot tryna comb it

what did i do wrong?

i'm a 4B natural

Just a thought: Next time use the PC before your conditioner. I have the Roux PC and Conditioner. I use it after I shampoo. I leave it on according to the directions (about a minute), rinse, then I use my conditioners. I think it will provide better results. My hair always feel weird after the PC, but after the conditioner, I have nice slip, and no breakage. HTH and Good Luck

I noticed you're from the UK and you're 4B - where do you buy your Porosity Control - I'm not sure but I might be needing some...

I too was concerned by the smell of ACV - I think I'll at least give it a try though

I use it this way too. I will never use it as a final rinse. I don't like the way it makes my hair feel.
