Hello Ladies,
I was wondering for those f you who use Roux PC:

How do you apply it?
When do you apply it?(before after condish?)
Have you used it with a co-wash??
How often do you have to use it?
Did you use it during a transition? Did it help?

And any other tips. Thanks you!!

Happy Friday.

How do you apply it? On damp freshly washed hair.
When do you apply it?(before after condish?) I use it as a second step, right after my poo and before my protein and moisture DCs.
Have you used it with a co-wash?? Nope, its not worth it for use like that.
How often do you have to use it? Weekly.
Did you use it during a transition? Did it help? I am fully natural.

Based on other experiences, some use it like I do, while others use it at the end. You have to see how it works best for you.

I use it as a Final Rinse after my Deep Conditioner. I always DC w/Heat so I use it (as per the directions) to close/restrict my cuticle after having it opened during the Deep Conditioning Process w/Heat.

I allow my Hair to "Cool" for a Bit. Apply Porosity Control for about a minute and rinse with cool/cold water.

I use it weekly after each DC'ing session.

I am Relaxed (No immediate plans to transition) I had overly porous hair that had been over & double processed. Porosity Control greatly helped with my Porosity Issues.

It makes my hair hard so I think it's best to use a moisture con after. I just haven't good luck with it. It acts like a heavy protein for me, strangely.

With this product, you're using it to return your Ph Balance down to an acceptable number and to tighten/close your hair's cuticle and to help fill in cracks from overly porous damaged hair.

This product is designed to help with your hair's inability to attract and retain Moisture.

PC is an acidifying conditioning treatment. I also use Nexxus Ensure for this purpose w/a ph balance of 3.0. Some Ladies use Apple Cider Vinegar as a final rinse to close/restrict cuticle and normalize your hair's ph balance.

As I mentioned, at one time, I had very, very porous hair that had been chemically treated to the Nth Power.

You should always be mindful of the ph balance in the products you're using and go with something low.

:bump:

I want to use the Roux tonight after washing with a cleansing conditioner, but still trying to decide if I should use it before or after a DC.
