For those that do the coconut/lime or yogurt and whatever the other ingredient mixture is 2 help the roots especially when stretching relaxers, is this something I can do as part of my pre-poo? Meaning can I leave it in overnight until I get my hair washed? Or is this something that needs to be applied to wet hair and washed out?

My hair is looking thick. But I really want to wait another 2 weeks. I just don't want to damage my hair by leaving this stuff in too long.

TIA...

Arr1216, I slept with the coconut/lime mix in my hair the last time I used it, and didn't have any adverse reactions. I sleep with my henna/coconut milk treatment in my hair, too. No problems, so far. I just make sure I use a plastic wrap so that it doesn't leak out.

Good luck making it to the end, though. I've got about 6 more weeks to go!

I've only tried the Curlaway product during stretches. I am satisfied with the way my hair responds that is: requires less heat, less breakage, dried/damaged ends looking MUCH better, and relaxed curl/springyness to hair.

Wonderful! I will try it soon. This may seem dumb, but can you use coconut oil in place of coconut milk if you melt it and then mix with lime juice?
