Has anyone ever tried this? I like my results with the dryer but I'd like to see what they would be without heat. I use the jumbo magnetic rollers. TIA.

I airdry after rollersetting...takes longer but I don't like sitting under the dryer. I get the same results as using the dryer.

i get the same results. rolled my hair yesterday and didn't have time to sit under the dryer, so i just air dried. no problem.

How long does it take to air dry in rollers?

^^^ at least 24hrs for me if I want fully dry hair. Otherwise it's a lil damp when I take it down.

I did it once. It took forever to dry but it was worth it. About a day to dry fully.

My aunt has ~apl relaxed hair.... all she does is rollerset and she has done it without heat. but she says it takes FOREVER to dry. she said it took like a day and a half. she liked the result but couldnt stand it lol.

What I usually do is spend about 15-20 min (or as long as I can stand, no more than 30 mins) under the dryer and then let it dry completely overnight.

I normally get similar results...if my hair actually drys completely. Normally I do things around the house and let it airdry for a few hours and then hop underneath the dryer to finish it

I airdry after rollersets since i don't own a hooded dryer and i have smooth silky results afterwards. I do my ponytail rollerset and airdry overnight. HTH

Is it not painful to sleep in rollers overnight?

Is it not painful to sleep in rollers overnight?

As a matter of fact no.. it maybe based on how the rollers are placed. i do 3 in the back, 3 in the middle all going horrizontally and 2 in the front. I've been doing this since wkly since Sept 1st and haven't had a problem or discomfort.

It seems like it would take too long to dry. I cant devote that much time to my hair.

I air dry overnight with my rollersets. I love the results this way. Its take about 10 hrs for it to dry completely though. I sleep on them and its not painful or uncomfortable once you find the right position.
