Last night I decided to try it. I went with the less is more train of thought and just used a littl Leave-In, a little serum and 3 pumps of setting foam and water. Most of my hair is rolled upward expect for the crow which is rolled downward. I most say that I am very happy with the results.

Sorry for the frizzyness. I am using my cell phone.

Hi. Congratulations on a successful rollerset.

I did my first rollerset last night too. I rolled most of it upward but the very front of "the mohawk" I rolled downward. My rollerset came out great too. It was much easier to roll upward and I was able to keep the roots stretched. After it was dry, I wrapped it and sat under the dryer for another 10 mins.

I used setting lotion, water, conditioner and IC Leave In. My hair came out well moisturized and soft. I will post pics to album after I edit them.

I am going to rollerset all the time now.

you rolled up and your curls still turned down after manipulating?

Yeah, I just wrapped it after it was dry with a little moisturizer and jumped under the dryer for another 10 minutes or so. Knocks those curls out every time.

I actually rollerset my whole head upwards a few days ago, and I really liked it. It does produce flips, but I just pincurled it like I normally do and the hair was "curled" under. Oh, I like setting my hair upwards cuz it tends to get my hair straighter, and I dont flat iron anymore, so I need it to be as straight as possble w/o heat.
