Rollersetting unrelaxed hair??

Hey All! Does anyone know if i can rollerset my hair if i don't have a relaxer? I don't really understand how to read the hair types but i have course, african american hair that i wear pressed.

There was just a thread about this topic not too long ago. I am currently transitioning with about 5-6 inches of new-growth. When I want to wear my hair straight I normally do a rollerset. The key is to start with very very wet hair and to set the rollers very taught.
