I'll start... I use the magnetic rollers with the caps and stick/store the caps in the rollers so that they will always be tight.
It helps to straighten new growth between relaxers.
Wow...really?? While the rollers are in your hair you put the caps in them?? I will have to try that..my NG always comes out too curly!!!
I also store mine the same way.I'll start... I use the magnetic rollers with the caps and stick/store the caps in the rollers so that they will always be tight.

What the OP and I are referring to (about these rollers) is that when we STORE the rollers, we take the outside snap on piece, and place it on the inside of the roller (again, when we STORE it). This keeps the snap on piece tight (because they can spread out / loosen a bit when using them over and over. I hope this is clear. Is it now?

Got Cha. I've never used these cause I've never found the 2" or 3" rollers with the caps so I just use clips to secure them. I also don't rollerset in the "Mohawk" I just part from side to side and front to back and rollerset each section. This allows me to loose a lot less hair for some reasonWhat the OP and I are referring to (about these rollers) is that when we STORE the rollers, we take the outside snap on piece, and place it on the inside of the roller (again, when we STORE it).
