What products are you using, to make your hair S U P E R slick/wet?

My hair is curly, and i'm having a hard time slicking it down.

Why me...

Do you keep a spray bottle with water to keep the hair saturated as you are rolling?

After I add my leave ins, I keep the spray bottle next to me because sometimes I can be slow with rolling and the hair must be wet to get the sleek results.

I gave up after I realized that I was going to have to do smaller parts than I had imagined.

I use Lottabody setting lotion and just make sure each section is soaking wet.

I feel your pain. I tried this ONCE and haven't tried it again. Here is my you tube video showing my attempt. Please excuse the poor quality. I'm itching to try this again, maybe as a ponytail rollerset.

I use Lottabody setting lotion and just make sure each section is soaking wet.

Same here as well as small sections - takes less time to dry.

I use a solution of setting lotion and water in a spray bottle. One part setting lotion to 4-5 parts water. I use macherieamour's rollersetting technique and spray every single section. I bought her DVD a few years ago and it is so helpful. I've got my rollsersetting time down to 30 mins now. The pic in my avatar is one of my rollersets.

What type of comb are you using?

Perhaps you should invest in (that is if you don't have one allready) a fine toothed seamless comb and do in small sections about 23-30 rollers... depending on size of roller and density/thicknes of hair.

Magnetic rollers with the snap on cap can be very helpful as well.
