I've read that your hair will be more volumous if you use a tiny amount of product. How do you do that? Won't your hair be dry after not using an ample amount of a leave-in or oils?

I KNOW that mine would be.

I think the difference is avoiding product overload as opposed to being "skimpy" persay. It works best if you pick 1 leave-in and 1 light oil or serum/setting lotion, but you don't need 3 of each. You want to lightly coat your hair as opposed to saturating it, like you would with conditioner.

I always deep condition first with my favorite mix (aloe vera, coconut and evoo). when its time to rinse out the conditoner, I dont rinse it out all the way(kinda my lazy version of a leave-in). after rollersetting, my hair is fulla body... for ME this works especially well with LUST.

i add the oil and stuff afterwards...the only think i did was spray motions leave in and left my hair soaking wet and rolled it.
