I want to try a rinse in my hair. I want to go with a dark brown color. What are some of the positive and negatives of getting a rinse. I have never rinsed or dyed my hair before. TIA

Positive - No Chemicals
Negative - Um, it could stain your collars if you wear it out, and your nails and hands when you do your hair.. If you use a super cheap kind

Positives: 1) Harmless, shiny color
2) Since it rinses out after a while, you can feel free to change colors after a while with no damage.

Negatives: 1) It washes out after a few washes and sometimes the color never really looks the same even after the first wash.
2) Sometimes the rinse doesnt take well. Sometimes, if you're not thorough, patches or hair are left un-colored for some reason.

Helpful tip: They penetrate better after a fresh relaxer.
