It seems a lot of ladies here don't use combs. The ones that do, use seamless, this is VERY important. Jilbere seems to be a popular choice here...I use Kent combs (and Mason Pearson brushes). My hair is just fine.

Hope you find what works for you!

I use a generic brand wide-toothed comb. I file the seams off with an emery board. It works... :)

Now thats a good idea too! The end result is what matters, huh!? ;)

I use several combs depending on what I am doing.

These are in my collection:
Annie shampoo comb (although I use this one on my dry hair)

I also really like this one I got from the dollar store:

In my office I like keeping this one in my desk:

In my purse I keep the Swissco Wet Comb ( I only use this one on dry hair, also):

I also have one of these types of combs hanging in my shower:

As you can see, I DO comb. :)

One of the combs that I use is the K-Cutter comb. It's great for detangling...I use it on dry hair. I found this at the BSS.

In the shower, I use the Mebco Tortoise Shower Detangler comb that I got from Sally's.

I do recommend a seamless comb as others have suggested. I believe a lot of people like the bone combs. I've been wanting to get one for the longest. Here is a wesite: www.hairsense.com/bonecombs.htm. HTH :)

After reading many threads here, I splurged and purchased the Mason Pearson combs. I cannot believe the difference when combing my hair. These combs are smooth, smooth, smooth - it is incredible.

If you don't mind spending the money, I highly recommend Mason Pearson combs for seamless, smooth combing.
