Alternative to combs on falls, ponies, buns, etc.

I was just thinking about a really cute style I wanted to wear with my baggie... BUT the peice I need to wear has combs on it... I used to wear falls and the combs broke my hair off at the top and back of my head. So needless to say combs are out. I was thinking to just take the combs off then buy salon quality hair pins to attach it... But even that would take my hair out (wouldn't it )

Does any one have any ideas on how I can attach hair without the combs?

I'm currently on the 3 month baggie challenge and I was concerned about using the combs too. I have a drawstring phony pony and I used the drawstring as well as bobbie pins to secure it to my head. It'a been working like a charm so far with no breakage.

I agree with you about the combs...but I was told to just take the bottom comb out & keep the top one in...I guess I should try bobby pins too : )

Move the comb around. Don't put it in the same place all the time.
