Rice Water Rinse??

Hey ladies,

My sister has been asking me about rice water rinse, I wasn't sure what exactly it does to the hair.. I looked at a few YouTube videos on it about an half and hour or so ago and found it interesting enough to try but I would like to know if it working for you?

I think there’s a thread somewhere. I recently bought Soultanicals rice tonic rinse but I haven’t used it yet.

Did a rice water rinse this past wash day. Had the rice sit for 2 days. Used a spray bottle to apply to hair for 20 minutes after shampoo and deep conditioned after. At first didn’t think it did anything but wow my hair after was so soft and curly and easy to comb. Gonna try to incorporate every wash and see what happens.

The biggest con was application because it’s liquid it dripped like crazy and was hard to make sure every strand was covered.

Do you think you could mix it with something to make it thicker?

Rice water is really good for moisturizing hair. It also has strengthening properties. I like using it as a rinse.
