They are actually owned by a company called Colomer USA, which is a spin off of Revlon. Here is a brief summary Colomer

I called Revlon because I wanted them to tell me what the pH of their Revlon Realistic Mild Relaxer was and thats when I found out.
I contacted Colomer, and a representative told me that this particular relaxer ranges from 10.5-13.

That bothers me a lot that a single product (particularly one marketed as "mild") could have a pH range so great...that means that box to box, no matter how consistently you apply the relaxer, you could end up over/under processed because the alkalinity is different.

Additionally, Softsheen-Carson (i.e. Dark & Lovely brand) is owned by L'Oreal..

Wow, thanks for the info. I must keep buying the Revlon Realistic Lye Regular with a lower ph b/c I always come out slightly texturized when I want it about 85 - 90% straight

Yes, but Colomer owns Cream of Nature, African Pride, Roux, MOP, Arosci, etc.
