Reviews-Bumble and Bumble

I just purchased a few products today for use on my daughter's natural 4a/b hair. I've recently been experimenting with her hair to to see if I can achieve well-defined curls with her hair out (still working on this). Now on with the show.

Curl conscious Shampoo - Very moisturizing, yet non greasy. There was no film-like or coated feeling to the hair during wash or after rinsing. Instead, it seemed to really moisturize the hair. It penetrated the hair shaft while cleaning and providing some level of detangling you wouldn't really expect in a stand-alone shampoo. This is a wonderful, wonderful shampoo, but for the price, I think Elucence MB would be a great contender.

Super Rich Conditioner - very thick, yet easily spreadable conditioner. My daughter's hair is so thick that usually product distribution is a bit of a task. This conditioner seemed to penetrate through the top layer of her hair right down to the roots. I did have to do some sectioning to ENSURE that it was evenly distributed, but the conditioner did most of the work. What really impressed me was the way it seemed to disappear into her hair shaft. Her hair is very, very dry naturally. Conditioners usually sit on top of her hair. Despite the thickness it penetrated directly into her hair. I was able to comb through her hair (using the K-cutter), and completely brush through her hair using my Denman brush. Immediately after rinsing, it was apparent by sight the conditioner did it's job. Her hair had a glisten to instead of the dull dry look it usually has. This is definitely a keeper. i will purchase this again.

Leave-In/Rinse Out - I purchased this solely as a leave-in as I want a separate conditioner for conditioning. This stuff is DA BOMB DIGGETY

. I didn't need to use a huge amount of it for it to penetrate her hair. It is creamy with a very light consistency. As soon as it touched her hair, her hair started absorbing it and behaving very well. I am sooo impressed with how soft it made her hair. After application the detangling and comb through process was a breeze. I will definitely be keeping a stock of this at all times.

Using these products together seriously debulked my daughter's thick hair, moisturized superbly and made her weekly hair washing experience a very happy one. I loved the results and although these products are expensive, they are well worth it. Bumble and Bumble is a very superior brand that has delivered high quality in these products.

Hey Army,

The Curl Conscious Conditioner is excellent also. It is my personal favorite. This would be a good one to rotate with the Super Rich Conditioner.

You gave excellent product reviews, my experience has been similar with relaxed hair.

Okay so I used the leave-in and my hair today and all I can say is WOW!! This stuff is definitely worth it's weight in gold. but then and agin I should've expected nothing less than fantastic results after how it performed on my daughter's thick hair. Today marks week 12 post relaxer for me and this suff detangled my hair like nobody's business. Now just to give a fair review, my hair was laready soft from using Kenra. And since I always detangle in the shower, i don't really get tangles. But it made my hair sooo soft with just a little and seriously laid down my newgrowth. i am so glad I found this product. It is now added to my list of staple products. Shoot with this stuff, I know I'll be able to stretch my relaxer another month with ease.

I've been using their leave-in on and off for about 4 years and it is the best. I always come back to it.

OMG the product list keeps piling up. So far in two weeks I have about 3 lines of products I have to buy...and I mean have to buy.

PJ For Life

I've wanted to try this product line for over a year now. I can't wait to try it. At first I was only going to try the leave in , but noooooowwwww I gotta get the whole kit and caboodle.

The Seaweed Shampoo, Alojoba Cond., and Grooming Cream are really good. The Brilliantine cream was too heavy and greasy. The Super Rich cond. and Deep Treatment didnt really do anything for my hair. The leave-in is a staple.

It's over now! I just found a salon 15 min form my house that sells their products!

Honey_Jammz, I think you'll fall in love with the leave-in. Right now I'm 12 weeks post realxer and it softens my newgrowth like nobody's bsiness. A few days ago after my wash I applied the leave-in and nothing else. Put my ponytail in and went to bed. Imagine my surpirse when I woke up and my hair had body and shine. And my hair DOES NOT shine unless I use pomade or serum.

Uggggh damn I'm sold already

**wearily adds the thread to her favourties**
