I was in line behind this White lady and I was checking out the things she was buying

When she put Sheer Brilliance on the counter, my eyes automatically went to her hair. And she did have nice shiny hair. So, I eased out of line and went in search for my bottle. No other product has ever given me such shine without the greasy feel and reduced frizzies. Smooth-n-Shine--No, CD's Mimosa Hair Honey--No(shiny but greasy), Essential Oils--No, Jojoba Oil--No, John Frieda's Sheer Reflections--Nothing, Castor Oil--No(shine but icky feel).

You can apply 2 to 5 drops to wet or dry hair, I prefer wet or damp. Also, long lasting shine. I spent the whole day inside and woke up this morning---STILL SHINY!

Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, SD Alcohol 40-B, Panthenol, Silk Peptide, Benzophenone-4, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propyparaben

The moral of the story is always check out your neighbor's shopping cart

Re: Review of Rusk\'s Sheer Brilliance

Thanks for the review. How long have you been using this product? Does the SD Alcohol 40-B bother your hair at all? I thought that was one of the 'bad' alochols.

Re: Review of Rusk\'s Sheer Brilliance

I've been using it for a week. And no the SD Alcohol 40-B doesn't seem to bother my hair, in fact my hair is loving the total product. It's a keeper
