Review: Nexxus Therappe shampoo

I recently purchased this shampoo and wanted to know your reviews on it.Did you like it, love it, or dislike it?

I have used this and it was quite nice. The more I used it the more I liked it. However I probably wouldnt buy it again.

It works well on my hair..and then it seems to lose its effectiveness after a few uses. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it..

This is one of my staples.

I love it, but only need it for times when my hair is moisture thirsty and I'm doing a thorough cleansing followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner. I usually use it if I've applied any dry heat to my hair or if my hair was dried out by the weather. It's fairly gentle and seems to prep the conditioner to do it's job better.

I have to say though, it's not effective as a regular poo. When it's done it's job, you don't need it again until your hair tells you it's ready.

I tried it when my hair was relaxed and it stripped and tangled my hair up something awful.

My hair also felt stripped and tangled by this shampoo. I used to use it religiously a few years back and it was really good and moisturizing but i dont know why now it just doesn't do it for me.

I have to agree -- it's good but not great, when my bottle is finished I won't be buying another. I do like it though.

I tried this shampoo a long while back. It didn't make my hair happy at all. When I peaked into my sister-in-law's (the one that is a hair stylist and has beautiful hair)hair care stash, I saw a liter size bottle of Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and a liter size bottle of Nexxus Humectress. I'm glad it's working for her. Both bottles are getting low.

I buy the liter sizes also, when I can get them, but now that I only shampoo once or twice a week and do daily con washes, that liter size Therappe will last me years.

As far as the tangling, I didn't have much of that problem. I suspect it's the lathering technique shown to my by a former hairdresser and because I pre-rinse and then use the smallest amount (about a dime size) to lather.

jemini - Remember to leave it in for the full three minutes as directed. The lather will diminish, but take that time to do an ultra gentle scalp massage.

Ditto to the good but not great opinions. It was ok when I tried it but it did nothing special for me & I wouldn't rush to buy it again.

I have the liter size and I like it because I think it is very gentle on my hair. I don't know if I will be repurchasing because I want to try something else. But maybe during a liter sale.

I've tried it but, I like the Nexxus Botanoil shampoo better.
