Few weeks ago I ordered sample of the Lanza Be Long line and I just got around to using the them. Be Long is a protien based line designed to address the needs of long hair.

The Products:

BE LONG Cleanse: A very mild shampoo that reminded me of elucence but not as concentrated. Very Very gentle. I imagine it would be great for folks that color their hair. I am in the market for a new shampoo and this ain't bad. All in all I give it /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Be Long Strengthen: This was a 2-3 minute reconstructive treatment. It gave the hair great slip and was detangling.I left it on for 5 minutes and moved on to the next step. All in all /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif /images/graemlins/cool.gif. There so many great protein treatments for a fraction of the price

Be Long Condition: Again a nice conditioner, it softened my hair has some slip to it but nothing to do cart wheels over.

Be Long Protect & Shine: This was basically a silicone based serum similar to Frizz Ease but much better quality. IIt had great slip and light feeling. I used it on wet hair and roller set. My hair isn't dry yet so I hope the final result is okay.

All in all a decent line with quality ingredients but I'm not exactly sold. I can see myself using products within the line but not the line in it's entirety. You can get more info at www.lanza.com

Thanks for the review! Could you list the ingredients in the shampoo when you get a chance? Thanks!

Thanks for the review.

I have the Protect & Shine serum. It was on sale for $3.99 at my local beauty supplies so knowing how expensive it prolly normally is I picked it up. Plus I'm sold on a few things from Lanza anyway so... /images/graemlins/look.gif okay okay so I'm a PJ. What? what? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Supergirl,

My roller set came out bouncy and full of life. IF I see the protect & shine on sale I might get it.

Thanks for the review F2B. I tried the Be Long Strengthen too - and liked it - but I didn't do a rollerset after so I've yet to see how dry hair looks after using. I really liked it tho. I thought the slip was good and it packed more of a punch being a reconstructor type product to me. I won't try the shampoo as I really like the Protein Plus. But I'm glad you gave the serum a good review because I'm always in the market for a great new serum.
