Hello ladies!
Ive been eyeing this ion hair setter for the past month or so. I decided to get it. It was 24.99 at target and I bought this one with all the jumbo rollers. I have the rollers in right now. I'll give you all a review once I take the rollers out. I am going to keep them in a little longer to achieve a tighter curl.
Here's a pic of it:

Well I have just taken the rollers out and here is my REVIEW!

1. operation: Well lets just say, I have no idea how to use the little pin thingys to secure the roller. I just improvised and the rollers held. I am going to call tomorrow to find how exactly this works.
2. Timing: I kept the rollers in for about 30 minutes. I probably didnt need to but I wanted a tighter curl since I used the jumbo rollers.
3. Style: I like the body and shine it provided. It was only a gentle heat, definitely not as hot as a curling iron or flat iron. My hair has curls with lots of SPRING!!!
4. Overall: I think that I will keep this hairsetter. It was definitely well prices. The shelf I got it from said 34.99 but when I went up to register it rang up as 24.99. You know I didnt say anything! I was too excited! I will only use it once a week though since I dont like to use heat.
5. RATE: 10 out of 10 for hairsetters. It is a ceramic hair setter and I like it better than the caruso. THUMBS UP!

I didn't like it all. Takes too long to heat, and the rollers were too hot for my fingers to handle. Thumbs down for me!

Hmmmm...maybe yours was defective. Mine literaly took like 2-3 minutes to get warm-hot. I didnt want it to get extra "curling iron hot" because I dont a lot of HIGH heat on my hair. I thought they did a good job. Seems like a keeper to me!

Hm... I didnt take any when I first took them out two days ago. I will do my hair this weekend and have pictures for you then!

Hey Chaya...

I've used the instant hear hairsetter for years and love it. (not sure if mine is ceramic though) I've had at least four sets probably and use it every morning after airdrying my hair in a ponytail the night before. I have the jumbo roller set so I use it for body and loose curls. When you are using the pins just slide them over the roller and make sure you point the open end down or in towards your head rather than up or out. HTH... Ashley

Thanks Ashley!
I tried the way you just mentioned the very first time that I tried them and I didnt get a tight curl that I wanted. When I had the pin part facing up the rollers stayed in tighter for me. Oh well thanks anyways!

Thanks for posting. I've gone through two caruso's because the steamer always breaks on me and I am looking for a new rollersetter. Off to target I go....
