I am amazed

I used this and it cleansed my scalp very well. I also liked the rich lather with it's minty smell. My hair had alot of product build-up and flakes(from my relaxer)that all went down the drain with the suds. My hair was perfectly prepared for a good conditioning. I liked that it did not feel stripped or hard. The price was not bad either about $6 for 10.1 ounces. I will definitely be using this to clarify 2 times a month since I use lots of oil and moisturizers in my hair Hope that helps someone.

thx for the review! Someone also told me that the bodifying shampoo is good for gentle clarifying....

Leslie I never used that one, but I have used the cream shampoo which I like alot as well. I know some people don't like it , but I love DPR-11!! I have a few lines that I rotate basically. It's hard to find good clarifying products though.

I am also IN LOVE with this shampoo, it was very gentle and did not leave my hair feeling STRIPPED, and that TINGLE

Very nice.

You have got me sold, HH2. I'm getting that for my scalp cleansing this week. Thanx for the review.

thanks for the review hh2. i'm a newbie to the elasta qp line (i just bought mango butter last week & my hair & ends LOVES it). guess i'll be adding this shampoo to my list as well!

I think I'm gonna have to try this. I really like the Elasta QP moisturizing shampoo and the shampoo for relaxed hair. I bet this is another good one too.

Bumping cause I just used this shampoo tonight and my scalp felt SO good. Only thing I wanna know, is it considered a clarifying shampoo and should I have use a moisurizing shampoo afterwards? I prepoo'd with HE hello hydration with some added evoo, jojoba & eo. My hair doesn't feel hard and it detangled fine. I just used the Elasta Qp leave-in.

Bumping for an answer. Is this scalp stimulating shampoo considered a clarifier? I would like to use it once a week if not.

I love that shampoo. I don't use it as often anymore but every once and a while I will pull it out. Pretty purple color and feels great on the scalp.

I used to use this years ago and loved it. They used to carry it at one of my local Walmarts, but it's hard to find in my area now.
