Ladies - I can't hardly contain myself!!!! I just got back from the derm and from her series of questions, we discovered the cause of my hairloss! Are you ready for this? My wisdom tooth surgery in May of this year! How could I forget about all of the stress and anxiety of finally committing to having that surgery, the insurance hell that followed it, and then the allergic reaction to either the anesthesia or the pain meds that sent me to the ER and my doc's office to get on even more medicine!!! I don't know why it didn't occur to me. I had the surgery in Mid May and my hair started coming out in June!!! Geez! She prescribed me a shampoo called Nizoral that I'm going to research before using. I'm so happy I could spit. My hair is trying to recover. Just so you know...I have put off having that surgery for years out of FEAR! It took a whole lot of miracles to get me in there and the doc had to give me laughing gas before even putting me under the anesthia because I was so ridiculously SCARED AND STRESSED.

Thanks for your support. I'm on the road to recovery. Hallelujah!

Congrats.....I used to use RX Strength Nizoral for psoriasis, I wonder if it will stop my shedding. Keep us posted. I think I may still have some.

Yea!!!!! Knowing really is half the battle! Good luck with your treatment. I hope the shedding stops soon.

Yay!!!:yay: I'm glad you found the answers to your shedding so you can finally get treated and put it behind you!! Here's to brastrap & beyond!!

Congratulations, Cayenne! I'm glad you have it figured out. I have felt for you. BTW, try to remember to work things into your life to combat stress...excercise, get adequate sleep, eat right, make time for quiet time. We all need to remember that. I know I need to.

congrats, the derm is always the best source. We spend so much time and money trying to find the solution when we really should consult a dr.
