Restoring the Standard in Ministry

Sidney, you broke it down. I just wanted to say thanks, again. As one who is also troubled by all that is happening, I wholeheartedly agree. The scriptures are being fulfilled before our very eyes. My prayers is that those that are still sleeping would "wake up" and open their eyes, before it is too late.
What a wonderful message, Sidney. 
May I share what disturbs me?
One of the biggest problems is that there are too many Minsters who have been exposed and most definitely proven wrong, and are still in the pulpit. One in particular has been slotted on two 'reality' shows as spiritual counsel.
Instead of smacking my head about this, I'd prefer to smack theirs. Such an 'insult' to the true Body, such an insult. Instead of being angry, I have to remind myself who produces and sponsors these shows who are not in relatioship with God in the first place. It's just plain mockery and God is not mocked.
What I don't understand is how TBN can have a known Pastor who divorced his beautiful wife and family and another femaale Pastor who is divorced, to be set before the Body of Christ as leaders? That is not scriptual; what Sidney has shared in this thread is completely the expectation and God's order of a Minister.
The point is that we cannot support a Minister who has been 'proven' as not representing the Body honourably. If a Minister is sinning, others will only follow suit, thinking that it is okay to do so. Instead of a true leader they are mis-leaders.
God's word says, "... a little leaven leavens the whole lump..." (Galatians 5:9)
If a leader's unrepented sinful spirit will increase among those who follow them.
I don't think it's right that a preacher can commit adultery, lie about it (because he is lying when he's cheating on his wife, due to the false front he puts on hiding it), then divorces his wife (or she divorces him whhich gives her license to) and is STILL in the pulpit. That's too much leaven which conflicts the Word of God. Way too much. This minister is fallen from his position and is no longer a Godly example for others to follow.

Words cannot express my gratitude for this thread.
So much has been on my heart these past couple of weeks; pain, sorrow, and tears. Each time I went before the Lord He reminded me that He is here, He is still God, and ministered to me through his word.
I thought about how the spirit of deception and the spirit of perversion are running rampant in my current city and state. I said Lord I need you, I want you. I want you to dwell amongst us. I don't want to live in a godless city, state, or nation. We need you Lord.
So Ladies - I thank God for you and this forum. It's comforting to know that there are others with the same mind and spirit - Restoring the Standard in Ministry.
Sometimes the truth hurts...but the truth will set all of us free. There were times when I couldn't receive or accept the truth...but when I finally did - I was free. And in the voice of MLK free at last, free at last...thank God Almighty free at last. :Rose:

There can be no restoring to the Standard of the Ministry as far as the 'established, world churches go', for the following reasons: THOSE IN 'CONTROL' OF 'THE MINISTRY' are walking either in 'deception' or 'rebellion'
1. They are in violation of what the Most High calls "the Message of the Ministry"...
2. They are in ignorance of what 'THE' CALL' is... which is: 'A CALL TO REPENTANCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS' not to a paid position to fleece the flock or assume being a leader or 'father' 'in the 'ministry'...it is not a call to seated on a platform above the people and being treated like a god. Since the roles that Our God assigned, were GIFTS IN MEN, why do they need to be paid a SALARY. A GIFT IS FREE!
Matthew 23: 6"And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted."

WHY ARE WE DISOBEYING THE WORD OF THE MOST HIGH?
THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE 'IN THE MINISTRY', A SEPARATE ROLE FROM THE REST OF THE BODY....
3. They are denying 'the church', made up of individual believers the knowledge and opportunity to fulfill the ROLE that they were called to.....
4. They have assumed 'anointings' in many cases, that they do not have, because the 'majority' of the believers have BEEN DECEIVED as the what the anointing is and does.
5. The have 'assumed 'positions' and 'authority' to WHICH THEY WERE NEVER CALLED.
I will respond to my own post, with Scripture to point out what I am saying.

Look at the fruit...what has happened to the BODY? What has it become?

So have these PASTORS, PROPHETS, PREACHERS IN THE PULPIT, been standing in God's Counsel and speaking the TRUTH?
I will answer that with Scripture.
Jeremiah 22" But IF they had stood in MY COUNSEL, and had caused my people TO HEAR MY WORDS, then they should have turned them FROM THEIR EVIL WAY, and FROM THE EVIL OF THEIR DOINGS".
23 "Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?"
24 "Can ANY hide himself in SECRET PLACES places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. DO NOT IF FILL HEAVEN AND EARTH? saith the LORD.
WHY IS THE CHURCH AND ALL THE CHURCHES ACROSS THE ENTIRE INHABITED EARTH, filled with LYING, FORNICATION, ADULTERY, HOMOSEXUALITY, GREED AND COVETOUSNESS?

THAT REMNANT OF HIS FLOCK are ISRAELITES, 'the 'little flock". The 'laws and statutes are commands were given to the nation of Israel to teach....but since the captivity, there are the HIGHER UPS, those that are neither Israel nor 'Christians', who are handing down 'what is to be taught and not taught in the churches'. The STRANGERS are controlling the pulpits. And there are many standing in those pulpits that are not shepherds but are hirelings! THEY ARE PIMPS IN THE PULPIT. ALL OF THE HIRELINGS AND THEIR 'MANAGERS' ARE GOING TO BE....NOT RESTORED....BUT PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THE PULPITS AND FROM EXERCISING ANY AUTHORITY OVER THE PEOPLE OF THE MOST HIGH.
Luke 12: 32 "Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the *kingdom. (*the government)
This is THE KINGDOM we have BEEN PRAYING FOR IN THE LORD'S PRAYER!!!!!

Yes. The people of the Most High are to be 'the sanctuary' but we call buildings controlled by Strangers and Hirelings, ...sanctuaries!!! and OUR FATHER IS NOT PLEASED AT ALL!

Yes. The people of the Most High are to be 'the sanctuary' but we call buildings controlled by Strangers and Hirelings, ...sanctuaries!!! and OUR FATHER IS NOT PLEASED AT ALL!

May I share what disturbs me?
One of the biggest problems is that there are too many Minsters who have been exposed and most definitely proven wrong, and are still in the pulpit. One in particular has been slotted on two 'reality' shows as spiritual counsel.
Instead of smacking my head about this, I'd prefer to smack theirs. Such an 'insult' to the true Body, such an insult. Instead of being angry, I have to remind myself who produces and sponsors these shows who are not in relatioship with God in the first place. It's just plain mockery and God is not mocked.
What I don't understand is how TBN can have a known Pastor who divorced his beautiful wife and family and another femaale Pastor who is divorced, to be set before the Body of Christ as leaders? That is not scriptual; what Sidney has shared in this thread is completely the expectation and God's order of a Minister.
The point is that we cannot support a Minister who has been 'proven' as not representing the Body honourably. If a Minister is sinning, others will only follow suit, thinking that it is okay to do so. Instead of a true leader they are mis-leaders.
God's word says, "... a little leaven leavens the whole lump..." (Galatians 5:9)
If a leader's unrepented sinful spirit will increase among those who follow them.
I don't think it's right that a preacher can commit adultery, lie about it (because he is lying when he's cheating on his wife, due to the false front he puts on hiding it), then divorces his wife (or she divorces him whhich gives her license to) and is STILL in the pulpit. That's too much leaven which conflicts the Word of God. Way too much. This minister is fallen from his position and is no longer a Godly example for others to follow.

Yes, this is very true Shimmie. If we hold our leaders accountable for the standards of leadership it would restore respect to the position. If one leader shows that it can't be done it makes them all seem like false teachers, and who want to follow a religion when the leader can't even maintain the standard?

Michalialee I think the remnant is mentioned in Revelation too in the bible prophecy but I haven't had time to research it, but yes that scripture refers to the remnant off Israel. I once read some scriptures in the bible about the "olive tree" that relate christianity and israel. Thanks for the scripture in the book of John 10,
