Before I run out and buy beyond the zone acid shock with that smell (thanks for the heads up blackcardinal) I wanna know if there are any alternatives? Conditioners that close cuticle and add shine with the proper acidity so that I can replce this with my acv rinse.
Well not really. It's just that I hate mixing it everyday and carrying it back up to the shower (I know, I'm lazy)
Then having to have vinegar run down my back. It's weird. Plus I hate the smell. I'm wondering if there is a conditioner with the same properties as far a cuticle closing and the right acidity level. But if there isn't, I'll keep the rinse.

Same here!!! So I use Nexxus Ensure acidifying conditioner
Girl, I feel the same way about all the mixing and the toting
but the smell usually goes away.
The two products that I have found that do the same job are VO5 leave-in for color protection and nexxus ensure. The ensure irritated my scalp and the VO5 made my hair a little dry. So I have stuck with the acv rinse.
I have been wanting to try a leave-in made by Philip B (sold at Beauty.com). It has vinegar in it and probably does the job...but I am reluctant to buy it because I can make my vinegar rinse for less money.
I like Kenra clarifying treatment, it uses fruit acids to take off build-up. They are discontinuing it, so it might be hard to find. I also like Origins No Deposit shampoo and Kenra Clarifying Shampoo. You might also want to try the Frederik Fekkai apple cider clarifying treatment. Probably is a little $$$ but it might solve some of your problems.
