Thanks!!! This is a big help..I'm going to do that when I get home. I really thought that brush was a little to harsh sometimes...I'll fix that :yep:
 
I know somebody who did that and it worked like a charm for her. But I never knew how she got the rows of teeth out. Now I'm glad I saw how she did it.

I may do this, because my brush makes my hair frizzy instead of clumped together.
 
I just took every other row outta my Conair "denman".. it saves some hair...
 
I also did this with my knock off. It does help with some of the pulling but in my head it should still be used sparingly.
 
i tried that before but whwn i tried to put the brush back together the base would never fit into the handle.
 
This is what I did to mine. I only use it now to blow dry my daughters hair. It works great with the teeth removed.
 
If you go to the Denman website they have other brushes available with the teeth more spaced out.

Was your brush new-ish? Because I had a much easier time with one I've owned for a couple of years versus a new one.
