Remember Ms. Cool Setting lotion?

That was the best setting lotion I had ever used. What are some of your favorites? I'm thinking about rollersetting (seriously) again. Just looking for some ideas...

Girl...you bought me back a few years....that stuff was the bomb! I wish I could find it again. It used to make my rollersets so soft.:p
 
Wow, I didnt know it was so loved by everyone like it was with me. Yes it was in a pink bottle. My best friend and I used it faithfully. Then they discontinued it. It set fast and soft. Those liquid setting lotions dont really work well for me.

mysweetevie, I have never looked at black and sassy. I will check it out when I leave later on...
 
This is funny I set my hair last night for the first time in years and when I went to look for setting lotion (I am a PJ) this is the only setting lotion I had...and this is my first time using the stuff. I have like two bottles and I must admit I do like the results. I got it from a dollar store last year sometime.

Hold up! You got this from a dollar store last year??? Im about to hit up all the dollar stores in my neighborhood :lol:... I had been searching for it at my BSS, and they told me it was discontinued years ago.
 
I feel like posting a "Reward If Found" sign for this stuff in my neighborhood. BEST PRODUCT ever and I was sick when they discontinued it. Would cure my heat addiction if they brought it back.

I used to use this back in middle school (well back then it was called junior high school):lol: . It was good. I used to do my wet set with it. I miss it becasue it didn't make my hair hard. I now use Fabulaxer Neutralizing Setting Lotion. It doesn't make my hair hard either. I just like teh consistency of Ms. Cool ( in the pump). I ahte when I like a really good product and it get discontinued.

I swear I saw it at the BSS or was that the Hindu sheen...I dunno but I will be looking early tomorrow
 
took me a minute to get the nerve up to mention this product but it's called Lottabody Creme Wrap.

it's not like the Miss Cool in the jar, that was thick - lottabody is sorta err.......liquidy kindof.

i'm thinking it may be more like the Miss Cool in the pump bottle.

i don't know about it setting hair up in 5 minutes but i have used to for an hour before going out and it does set it.

i am also using it now when i roll my hair at night.

it gives very soft noncrunchy curls that last.

ymmv but i only paid $2.57 for mine so it's not an expensive mistake if you don't like it.

yea try it.....i found mine in one of the many BBS's around here, never seen in sally's or walmart though.

Thanks....the fact that it says cream wrap interests me. You hair is beautiful btw.

yea that's what made me try it too.....hope it works good for you.

it's too bad they discontinued miss cool......

btw, this board continuously blows me away with all the gorgeous heads all up in here and your's is no exception!
