Does a relaxer fade over time? the reason I am asking this is because I used a relaxer on my hair about two months ago and I am really anxious about trying a new one and I do not want to do it right now.

Thank you

Once hair is relaxed that is it. If you want to try a new relaxer it should only be applied to your new growth. Some beauticians will comb through new and old growth. But this is very damaging to the hair and can result in overprocessing and severe breakage...I would be very careful. One bad relaxer can set you back months or years on your hair growth journey.

DITTO!

A relaxer applied to hair...cannot "fade".

Once the relaxed hair has been relaxed...it cannot be undone or removed...(I know that may seem obviouse to some, but I have actually read where a girl wanted to put a Tide detergent concoction on her hair after a perm in order to get the "perm out"..)

It is not possible to remove perm from hair in any other way other than cutting it off.
