I have been using motions relaxer and I just wanted to know if there are any other type fours' that use it, with great results. I'm trying to decide if I should switch to another relaxer. TIA

I use to use motions and now use AFFIRM but will going to Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Relaxer. Everybody is going crazy over this relaxer. :)

if you want to notice a difference in your hair and have soft silky hair, i'd suggest giving mizani a try. at least once....i think everyone should give it a try at least once...

Never heard of this one, gotta check it out

im a 3b 4a combi and motions gives me underprocessed hair. i heard mizani dries the hair out though.

4a here. I tried motions on a section of hair and it gave me major tangles. I now use affirm and will be sticking with it .

I use motions mild and regular and the ones with the added oil., both give me underprocess hair, but I also had a bone strait syndrome. So as to not awaken it, i stick with it. I llike how the texturized hair when straigthen is thicker. My hair doesn't cul up with humidity although it's underprocess/texturized. I also tended to overprocess my hair, so it curbs that syndrome too.

One thing I like about motions, the regular and the oil is that my hair doesn't feel dried out, it's the only lye perm I ever used though. All the box perms made my hair feel like straw when rinsed.
I never used Affirm so I have no comments. Cathy Howse uses it. Does it make the hair more mositurize.

I use Affirm and am always very happy with the results. I've tried both the regular and the Fibergaurd, which is supposed to be more conditioning. I don't really notice a difference between the two, but they're both very good.

Miizani was terrible on my coarse 4b hair.
