I was searching the forum to try to find a good no-lye relaxer to use, and I read that it depending on what you wanted it to do.

Can somebody recommend a relaxer that's good for wash and wear? I want to be able to wash my hair every day without it wearing off.

I've never really been one to style my hair; I always just wash it, comb it, and then go. Since coming to this board, I have also started deep conditioning it, and I am trying to find out more about hot oil treatmenats. I'm wondering if there is one that can make the hair straight enough to look presentable without too much manipulation, but without making it bone straight. I'd like to continue just washing and combing/brushing it everyday.

I'm sorry if these questions seem dumb, I'm rather new to this. ^^;

I'm not really sure what hair type I am. Can you link me to the chart? Thanks.

I suggest Mo body by Vitale... it gets your hair straight but I am still able to wet my hair and pin it up for a wet curly look sometimes...

good luck!
