Hey ladies, I have a quick question. I deep conditioned last night and today I would like to relax. Is that okay?

Thanks in advance
Tanya

I'd wait 48-72 hours before relaxing to reduce the possibility of scalp burns.

Did you scrub or manipulate the scalp in anyway while DC, if so then I say wait 2 or 3 days before you relax.

uh, that's a good question!

i don't want to give you bad advice....our hair is too important to us, so don't take my word for it, but let me ask you this: did you deep condition with a protein conditioner or a moisturizing conditioner?

also, when did you last clarify your hair/scalp?

I didn't manipulate my scalp at all. My DC was VO5, Amla oil, castor oil, honey and avocado butter.

I personally wouldn't. When I relaxed I would wait 2-3 days after washing/DC before I relaxed

Make sure you base your scalp very well!

The relaxer instructions suggest you wait at least 72 hours after washing your hair to relax. I wait a week.

Thank you ladies. I knew you wonderful women would give great advice, you always do
