I've used EVOO and/or a cone condish. I like Aussie Moist. ETA: Sorry, I don't measure how much I put in when I used to do it.
When my hair was shorter, I could get it curly by using the relaxer undiluted and rinsing it out almost immediately after applying. Also, have you tried the "mild" formula of your relaxer?
I use the sensitive scalp version of my relaxer and add two tablespoons of castor oil to my relaxer. I follow the instructions for fine hair, and I don’t use a comb.
Have you tried smoothing the relaxer with gloved fingers instead of using the back of a comb and maybe leaving it in for less time?
I use the mild form of the relaxer already but it gets my hair straight. What relaxer do you use?
It’s no-lye.What relaxer do you use? Is it Lye or no-lye?
i would put 1/4 cp of oils, con, or both. It would always add up to 1/4 cp though. experiment with great ingredients. Also when applying put it in from the strongest resistance area down to the weakest or most problem. Then smooth with ur fingers and hands until its a lil bit looser than you'd like(the relaxer weighs the hair down.... remember that). No combs or smoothing til straight. there should be wave. just a really loose one. kinda like when bentonite clay is in ur hair.
