Hey all

I relaxed yesterday and I put up some new pictures.

I have a question, I have been trying to master this wrapping technique but I always have the "dent" (look at my pics to see it), does anyone have a technique that doesn't leave this? Or advice??

Thanks girls!!

I do not have any advice re wrapping because I stopped doing this as it caused my hair to break. I just wanted to say that your hair is looking gorgeous

Anyway, when I used to wrap my hair, I would wrap it around my head, but then brush the middle toward the front some so that it doesn't look like a bowl or crater in the top. Just make sure that your hair is round all over your head...It's hard to explain this..does it help? Ask me more if you don't understand. Someone else may be able to explain better!!

Your hair looks great! You are doing a great job whatever you are doing! Yet another inspiration...I swear this board is loaded. Natural and relaxed.

Your hair looks great! It's nice and thick.

Are you doing the half and half wrapping method or regular way. If you're wrapping it the regular way, then try putting a couple of rollers in the top and then wrap the rest. Then when it's undone, it won't have that dent.

I don't think the dent is very noticeable.

I basically part the hair into four sections, first I criss-cross the top, then the back...the top doesn't get the dent but the back does.

I started doing it that way because I hate wrapping the regular way and my hair all falling to one side all day.

Thanks for all the encouraging words....no one has another way to wrap?

P.S. I can't do rollers....I can't sleep with them in.

YOUR growth is AWESOME....Now I feel better, i can make some progress in less than a year!!!!
Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!

I always have dents when I wrap too.

But I had to tell you that your hair looks great and it has grown soooo nicely.

Thanks everyone!!

I have another question too (I think we need a "wrapmaster" on this board)

I've noticed that the longer my hair gets, the flatter it is after wrapping and it's not even curling under very much anymore...does that make sense? When I take it down it doesn't curl under as much it is just kind of flat.

When I've wrapped my hair, then added only 2 rollers in the top, I don't even feel them.

Maybe I'll give it a try, can I use sponge rollers? I know I sound like a baby but I can't sleep with hard rollers...really.
