Relaxed

Go, girl! Your hair looks so long and gorgeous from your pics.:yep: The Optimum relaxer is so gentle. I want to be able to stretch my relaxer for a year when my hair gets longer for health reasons.

I can definitely relate SB! I just relaxed too after 8.5 months. It was just too much for me and I wasn't ready to BC. Actually, I had surpassed all the initial major drama and was doing fine with my transition and loved my new natural hair, but then the humidity came and I was totally unprepared for how my hair reacted. All-in-all I chalk it up to a great experience. I had never seen my true texture so I got a chance to see it. I had never stretched beyond 12 weeks so reaching 8.5 months post still has me in disbelief. I learned so much about my hair. I take my hat off to natural ladies....natural hair is hard work....well managing two textures is hard work. But when you figure your natural hair out and what it needs, it's really gorgeous! I miss my natural texture, but I can manage my relaxed hair without even thinking about it, which is stress-free and what I need right now. You have to do what's best for you and what fits your lifestyle.

Hey thanks girl!! Lol, you did too? Yeah it was getting hard for me too. WOOWOOWOWOW! That is a long time without a relaxer, wow that is good!
I was actually scared to relax...thought my hair would fall out or somehthing. I have 4b hair so it's really hard with all this heat. And yes, transitioning is not for everyone! Let's doit right this time sister. This forum has given me SO MUCH info about black hair care...and all for $6.50. Can't beat that deal with a bat!! LOL I'm currently learning about ceramides - got some hemp seed oil on the way, it's supposed to be great for the hair! Good luck with your hair journey, you're in great company so I know you'll make it!!:rosebud:

Hey girl!! Oh really? Yeah thats a good time.... yeah that Optimum is gentle! Except I shouldn't have started where I started, hadn't done a relaxer in so long forgot I should have started in the center I guess, oh well.....
