Not necessarily growth, but retention. Generally, the longer you stretch, the more you retain... to a certain extent.
If a person isn't good with taking great care of their hair while it's in 2 textures, then stretching could be anti-retentive for them. Yes... I just made up a word![]()
I agree with this. I've retained more hair than I ever have in my life. Stretching was the first thing I added to my regimen when I joined LHCF. I stretch from 16-18 weeks at a time. It is very difficult to do when I am 8 weeks+ post, but so worth it! My hair has regained its childhood thickness since I am no longer overlapping every 5-6 weeks like clockwork. I will tell you though, those last 4 weeks I look a straight-up mess

how come when I relax my hair seems longer and when the perm gets old my hair is shorter
